SPRING SEASON - OKC FIRST Robotics Competition(FRC)

In the Spring, we compete in the Oklahoma City FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). When we do activities related to FRC we become the Oklahoma County 4-H Robotics Team. Since we are a part of the Oklahoma County 4-H youth organization, there are opportunities to be involved with a wide variety of other activities and benefits as well as robotics.

FALL SEASON - Boosting Engineering Science and Technology (BEST) competition

At the beginning of the school year, we compete in the HEARTLAND BEST competition. During this competition we are known as the Oklahoma City Home School Robotics Team. Most of the students are home-schooled, but we welcome students from public and private schools as well.

CONGRATULATIONS to our 2014 BEST team. On November 1, they traveled to Alva, OK and competed in the Heartland Best competion and came in first place with their robot. They also came in second place with the overall "BEST" award. Way to go team! Click Here for more about our team at Heartland Best.

An even BIGGER CONGRATULATIONS to our 2014 BEST team when they traveled on Dec 5-6 to the Regional competition at Fort Smith Arkansas. The Frontier Trails BEST Regional competion is where the best of the best go to compete. Our team won the following awards:

  • GRAND PRIZE: The BEST award.
  • FIRST PLACE: Spirit and Sportsmanship.
  • FIRST PLACE: Notebook.
  • SECOND PLACE: Founders Award.
  • SECOND PLACE: Photogenic
Although our robot didn't win a prize, it performed great. Coming in 5th overall. Very Impressive!

More information and pictures coming. COME BACK SOON.

Keep Reading and re-reading the Rules for the game. When you come upon something that you feel needs to be emphasized. Come up with a test question(s) related to the thing you feel is important. Email that question to me ASAP, and I'll use the best of the questions to test your peers sometime soon.
