SPRING SEASON - OKC FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC)

In the Spring, we compete in the Oklahoma City FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). When we do activities related to FRC we become the Oklahoma County 4-H Robotics Team. We are also associated with Oklahoma County 4-H, which opens the door to a lot of other activities and benefits.
Our 2012 FRC challenge is called "REBOUND RUMBLE".

FALL SEASON - OKBEST

At the beginning of the school year, we compete in the local OKBEST competition. During this competition we are known as the Oklahoma City Home School Robotics Team. Most of the students are home-schooled, but we welcome students from public and private schools as well.

For Younger Students - FIRST Lego League (FLL)

We are just beginning to look into having a FIRST Lego League (FLL) Team.

Wednesday, January 25, 2012, 4:00 PM Robot Demo at the Choctaw Library

The Choctaw Library is located at 2525 Muzzy in the town of Choctaw. This is one block north of NE 23rd street and 2 blocks west of Choctaw Road.

If possible I'd like to demostrate our 2011 FRC and BEST robots. The lady at the library would also like the attendees to have a little interactive time with the lego robots.

I'm hoping for a large turnout, but I have no idea how many people will show up. I think the audience will consist mostly of students that have just gotten out of school.

NOTE: This is one more thing that counts toward the engineering inspiration award

Until Further notice: The Ninja Munkees will be working on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6-9 PM, Metro-Tech

Saturday, February 11, 2012, Possible date for FRC demo at jcpenney.
Just like we did last year, we will demo our FRC robot at Penn Square Mall.

Thurdsay, February 16, 2012, Application due date for several FRC awards.
Several FRC award applications are due on February 16. Chairman's award, FIRST Dean's List award, Woodie Flowers award, and Website award.

Saturday, February 18, 2012, Possible date for Boeing Scrimmage
This event will probably be at the Science Museum Oklahoma (SMO), Formerly known as the "Omniplex".
